Huge boost for Arsenal! Wenger says key star could return this weekend

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger gave updates on player fitness ahead of the Premier League game against Hull City this weekend.

Arsene Wenger has revealed that Mesut Ozil could make his return to the Arsenal side this weekend.

The German has been out of action since he was taken off at half-time during the Champions League last 16 game against Bayern Munich.

“Gibbs is out, Ozil could be available, Monreal could also return.” Said the Frenchman.

There is also a boost with Mathieu Flamini due back after a ban but Wenger has urged caution, with Hull’s home record this season relatively impressive.

“Hull have had a remarkable season and they have done well at home - Steve Bruce is one of the remarkable managers of the season.”

The boss has reiterated recent comments that his players will be going all out to give everything over the rest of the season with a top four slot and the FA Cup still achievable goals.

"We want to come out of the season and think we have given absolutely everything."

The boss has also suggested that the Gunners have moved on from last season, proven by the fact they have held top spot in this campaign on several occasions.

"We have moved forward this season, we were 17 or 18 times top of the league."
