Copies on disc are now due on May 2nd, digital copies are still due on time.
PC gamers waiting for their physical copy of Dark Souls II will have an extra week to wait before they can get in on the action. Namco Bandai confirmed the bad news over on Joystiq this week, verifying claims from UK retailers that boxed copies would be set-back until May 2nd.
Apologising for the delay a Namco Bandai representative stated, “This is due to a manufacturing issue with packaging. To confirm, this will only affect the UK boxed launch.”
Moving on from Dark Souls, the PC port for the new game is promising some better graphics functionality and improved keyboard/mouse support. You can read about our experience with the console version here.
The PC digital release date for Dark Souls II worldwide is still set for April 25th.
