A round up of news stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham will reportedly go after current Chelsea striker Samuel Eto’o when his deal expires this summer.
The Cameroonian forward has been in decent form for the Blues, but is unlikely to be offered a deal to stay at the club.
He becomes a free agent in the summer, which means no fee involved but Spurs would have to agree what would likely be a big and expensive personal wage deal.
Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor has piled praise onto midfield star Christian Eriksen.
The forward says everyone at the club is aware of how good the Dane is and that it’s important he plays well consistently.
“We know how good he is and hopefully he will be the man to finish the season well for us because when he plays well, we play well,” he told the Tottenham website.
Harry Kane says he’s eager to repay head coach Tim Sherwood for giving him a chance in the first team.
Kane has been a key feature in the Tottenham attack over the last couple of weeks, with Sherwood seemingly keen to continue giving youth a chance.
“We've four games left and it would be great to get some more starts and more goals between now and the end of the season,” he told the press.
