'OH YES' - Lukas Podolski reacts on Twitter to Everton going 1-0 down

Arsenal star Lukas Podolski did not conceal his delight when Everton conceded an early goal to Crystal Palace.

Arsenal need Everton to drop points to ensure they qualify for next season's Champions League, and got an early lift on Wednesday night.

The Toffees surprisingly went 1-0 down against Crystal Palace, thanks to a Jason Puncheon goal.

And Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski, the two goal hero of the previous evening against West Ham, made no effort to hold back his feelings when told about the news.

The Gunners would go onto be given a major boost, with Crystal Palace seeing the game out for a 3-2 win at Goodison Park, leaving them in the driving race in the battle for the top four.

Arsenal themselves travel to Hull City, and Norwich City, as well as hosting Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion in their quest to seal fourth spot.

Everton still have to host Manchester Unitd and Manchester City, and travel to Southampton and Hull City.
