Manchester United striker Robin van Persie has posted a video of his training as he steps up his recovery from a knee injury.
The Dutch striker has been out of action since scoring a hat-trick against Olympiakos in the last-16 of the Champions League, but the video suggests he could be nearing a comeback.
It will be a welcome sight for David Moyes, with doubts remaining over the fitness of Wayne Rooney and with five games remaining this season.
But Dutch coach Louis van Gaal will also be paying close attention to the United striker's recovery as he prepares for this summer's World Cup.
Van Persie had scored 15 goals in all competitions prior to his injury lay-off, but he will no doubt be hoping to add to that tally in what remains of the campaign.
Doubts remain over van Persie's long-term future at Old Trafford, but the best way to prove the doubters wrong is to get back on the goal-scoring trail and prove he can form an effective partnership with Juan Mata in the likely absence of Rooney.
