Swansea City have no intention of allowing Napoli to pounce for defender Ashley Williams, manager Garry Monk has stressed.
The Italian giants will look to strengthen their defence in the summer after an impressive campaign that has seen them emerge as title contenders for next term.
Napoli were previously linked with Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic but reportedly fell short of his wage demands.
Now the Partenopei are allegedly keeping an eye on Welsh international Williams, who played against Napoli for Swansea in the Europa League earlier in the season.
While reports in Italy suggest that Napoli are getting ready to swoop in the summer, Swansea manager Garry Monk is determined to keep his star man.
"It's only normal that good players are sought after by lots of clubs. He's a good lad and he has taken the club to heart and wants the best for us.
"I know that he is happy here so I don't see any problems. We haven't spoken to him about the future yet."
