'Lots of tests today' Wenger nervous over injury crisis

Arsene Wenger In Emirates Press Conference 2

Arsene Wenger gave updates on player fitness ahead of Arsenal's game against West Ham United tomorrow night.

Arsene Wenger has revealed there are some fitness concerns ahead of the Premier League match against West Ham, stressing the importance that the side moves on quickly from reaching the FA Cup final.

“Everybody is happy to qualify for the final. We must put it to the back of our minds now - We have plenty of uncertainties. We will have lots of tests today,” said the boss.

The boss confirmed that Tomas Rosicky and Laurent Koscielny will undergo fitness tests later today.

“Rosicky and Koscielny will undergo tests today. Podolski, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Monreal are also doubts.”

"Wilshere will start to run this week, he is progressing well."

The boss has stresses that the side need to be switched on and ready to face West Ham, as the game could be difficult due to its derby status, also hinting that the fourth place battle against Everton is now Arsenal’s main focus.

“It's important to focus on the Premier League. We need to find our tempo for a derby game - We have a battle with Everton and we must be consistent until the end of the season.”

Wenger has also stressed the positives after a disappointing performance against Wigan, suggesting the fans need to get right behind the side for the rest of the season.

"Our fans were fantastic on Saturday even when it was bad. I'm sure they will be behind the team for the rest of the season. Mentally and determination-wise I think we were there. On the football front we can be much better."
