Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Jack Wilshere will be running again by the end of the week.
Arsenal were handed a small piece of good news this morning when Arsene Wenger confirmed rumours from last week that Jack Wilshere will return to training this week.
The midfielder has been out of action since he suffered a foot injury while on England duty in the recent friendly game against Denmark.
Wilshere played on after the challenge from Liverpool’s Daniel Agger but Wenger has confirmed that Wilshere is likely to return to light training, with running at some stage this week.

His return will be welcome for both club and country with the Gunners suffering an injury crisis across the middle of their team at the moment, which could see partially fit players turning out against West Ham United tomorrow night.
The news also allows Wilshere to get back to a stage of fitness and match sharpness that should allow him to guarantee his place on the plane to the World Cup in Brazil this summer.
