It was touted as the most important game in terms of the title-race all season, and it did not disappoint.
Liverpool's 3-2 victory over Manchester City gave them a seven-point lead over Manuel Pellegrini's men going into the home-straight, with goals from Raheem Sterling, Martin Skrtel and Philippe Coutinho sealing the win.
But while most people are talking about Liverpool players the following day, what of the striker tasked with shooting down the Reds' title challenge?.
Edin Dzeko has been in fine form in recent months, and has 21 goals for the season. But against Liverpool he failed to find the net, with the majestic David Silva outshining him on the day.
As you can see from the Opta stats below, Dzeko not only failed to score at Anfield, he also failed to set up a goal or play a single key pass.
Of his three scoring attempts just one was on target, while he played a total of 16 accurate passes before he was substituted in the 68th minute.

Sunday was not to be Dzeko's day, but what did the fans make of his performance?
