Chelsea fans react on Twitter to Ba performance: 'Take away his last two goals and our season would be over'

Chelsea striker Demba Ba scored the vital goal against Swansea City on Sunday, but what did the fans make of his performance?

Chelsea striker Demba Ba is likely to be elsewhere next season, and yet if this really does prove to be his final campaign at Stamford Bridge, he could ultimately prove to be their hero.

Having scored the vital second goal in the Champions League quarter-final second leg against Paris Saint-Germain, Ba struck again at the weekend, scoring the only goal of the game against Swansea City just hours after Liverpool had climbed seven points clear of Manchester City in the race for the Premier League.

Ba may have only scored seven goals all season, but the last two could prove to be among the most important of the Blues' entire campaign.

As you can see from the Opta stats below, Ba had five scoring attempts prior to his substitution, two of which were on target.  He also played 12 accurate passes in his 79 minutes on the pitch.
