Manchester United fans urge Moyes to sign up this player

Marco Reus

Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus was the star of the show as Jurgen Klopp’s men defeated Bayern Munich 3-0 at the Allianz Arena on Saturday. And many Manchester United fans were watching, hoping that the German international will soon be on his way to Old Trafford.

Manchester United have been linked with a move for Reus for the majority of the season, and it’s understandable why.

The 24-year-old attacking midfielder has been Dortmund’s driving force this season, scoring 14 goals and assisting with a further ten goals in 22 Bundesliga starts.

This season Reus has been the real deal, proving his worth against Europe's best. Over the past week, the German international bagged a double against Real Madrid in the Champions League, and he followed that up with another goal during Dortmund’s crushing 3-0 away victory over rivals Bayern Munich yesterday.

Reus' performance against Bayern was much more than just his goal, however - he was a thorn in the German champion's side all game, completing two key passes, three successful dribbles and three turnovers - more than any other player on the pitch.

With Manchester United looking to boost their squad this summer in a bid to challenge for the Premier League title once more, signing Reus might be a good start.

Despite having a contract at Dortmund which expires in 2017, Reus has a reported €40m release clause, which suitors such as Manchester United could easily trigger.

A number of Manchester United supporters tuned in to watch the big Bundesliga clash, and a number of fans raved about yet another tremendous Reus performance.
