Manuel Pellegrini took some time to warm to Joe Hart when he first moved to Manchester City, but the England international has put mediocre form behind him to reclaim the Etihad Stadium number one jersey.
However, reports in the media continue to suggest that the Chilean manager remains unconvinced about Hart in the long run and will look to bring in a new goalkeeper this summer.
Sportsmediaset have today reported that City are keen admirers of Inter’s Samir Handanovic and will offer £21 million for the 29-year-old’s services at the end of the season.
The Slovenian stopper took over from Julio Cesar in the Nerazzurri’s goal after signing from Udinese in July 2012 and has impressed for the San Siro outfit.
The report suggests that Inter are eager to stump up funds to buy new players in the summer and also have one eye on City’s Edin Dzeko – with a potential swap deal in the offing.
