If there were any nerves among the Liverpool players prior to kick-off against Manchester City this afternoon, they were alleviated the moment Raheem Sterling scored the opener after just six minutes.
When Martin Skrtel netted a second 20 minutes later, you got the impression this may just be Liverpool's day...and possibly their season.
Skrtel is turning into something of a goal-scoring extraordinaire, while Sterling has kicked on to devastating effect in this campaign, with a place on the plane to Brazil surely all but secure.
But for now the Liverpool players are focused only on their title-charge, and you could see by the way Skrtel celebrated with Steven Gerrard and Sterling did the same with Luis Suarez, that today's match is not like the others.
This one is different, and it could also define a new legacy for the Reds and their manager Brendan Rodgers.
