The Belgian League runs a little different to ours. Like the Scottish system they split the league at the end of the regular campaign before the top and the bottom half of the league go at it for differing rewards.
For Thorgan Hazard that means going toe-to-toe with the likes of Anderlecht, Standard Liege and Club Brugge for the Pro League title.
Hazard is currently enjoying his second spell on loan at the club and once again is leading them toward a potential title success.
They are currently unbeaten in the top six playoff stage. They continued that run yesterday with a win against Brugges - their third win in three games.
They have already defeated KRC Genk and Standard Liege at this stage however it looked like they were heading toward a draw last night - until Thorgan Hazard popped up.
He led the charge for ten man Zulte in the final moments of the game - charging forward from his own area before following his run.
The ball was then squared back to him before he slotted it beyond Matthew Ryan in the Brugges goal before reeling away and celebrating in style.
It was Hazard’s 14th goal of the season and it puts Zulte square in contention for the Pro League title for the second season running - this time perhaps they will finish off the job.
Hazard recently spoke about his future with Chelsea - admitting he wanted a loan deal to either the Premier League or Bundesliga next term - and judging by his recent form he seems ready for the step up in class.
