Coutinho hopes tattoo will help keep Liverpool's dream alive

Liverpool's Brazilian playmaker Philippe Coutinho has urged fans and teammates to keep dreaming of a Premier League title.

Liverpool’s bid to win a first Premier League title this season has been as relentless as it has exciting.

Brendan Rodgers’ men are currently on a nine-game winning streak, having scored 90 Premier League goals over the season and possess a strike duo which has netted an incredible 49 goals between them.

And although Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez have taken many of the plaudits this season, Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho has arguably been just as important in his creative role.

The Brazilian international joined Liverpool during the 2013 January transfer window, and had made a hugely positive impact at Anfield.

The 21-year-old has a perky outlook on life, and he believes his recent tattoo – which reads ‘Make Us Dream’ – is most apt for Liverpool’s exciting title-challenge.

'I only had the tattoo done a few months ago', Coutinho told the Liverpool Echo.

'Never stop dreaming is a sentence I like. I take it for life - it’s not only related to Liverpool or this current moment we find ourselves in. But it’s apt. It fits this season at Liverpool. The players and the fans keep dreaming'.

Liverpool are currently top of the Premier League, two points ahead of Chelsea in second and four points clear of Manchester City (who have 2 games in hand) in third.

And the Reds host Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday knowing that victory will be a huge step towards sealing the Premier League trophy. Fans will no doubt be hoping that the whole Liverpool team will be able to continue 'the dream'.
