Tottenham Hotspur Player Ratings vs West Brom: Eriksen shines!

Tottenham WHL

How did Tottenham's players fare against West Bromwich Albion? Here are the ratings for Tim Sherwood's side...

Hugo Lloris 6 - wasn't given much of a chance with any of the goals as his defence went AWOL in the first half an hour.

Kyle Naughton 6 - Naughton was the best of a bad bunch of Spurs defenders, as he got forward well to support Aaron Lennon down the right hand side.

Younes Kaboul 5 - Another terrible display from Kaboul, who isn't doing himself any favours as he looks to earn a new contract at White Hart Lane.

Vlad Chiriches 4 - Hauled off at half time after a shocking first half which saw him make a number of errors, and was horrendously outpaced for Stephane Sessegnon's goal.

Danny Rose 5 - Poor display defensively but got forward well and had an effort superbly saved by Ben Foster, even though he was booked for a terrible dive in the second half.

Aaron Lennon 6 - A better display in the second half, as was the case with most Spurs players, and did well to get over the cross for Harry Kane's goal with some great wing play.

Paulinho 7 - Energetic display from Paulinho who got up and down well, working as the most combative midfielder as well as getting forward and shooting from distance.

Nacer Chadli 5 - Didn't exactly flourish in the centre of midfield as Sherwood made a strange decision to use the Belgian alongside Paulinho in the centre.

Christian Eriksen 8 - The saviour of the game for Spurs, clinching a late draw but was also lively throughout, even if his deliveries were overhit too frequently.

Harry Kane 7 - Lively again after his impressive display against Sunderland, and got on the scoresheet again but could have had more having missed a couple of good chances.

Emmanuel Adebayor 6 - lethargic display from Adebayor, who never looked like scoring - even when he had the opportunity from the penalty spot.

Ezekiel Fryers 6 - Came on for Chiriches and was more solid, even if the Baggies didn't ask as many questions in the second half.

Andros Townsend 6 - Came on with just five minutes to play and whilst he looked dangerous, didn't really create anything for Spurs.

Gylfi Sigurdsson 6 - Didn't really get into the game after coming on for Nacer Chadli.
