Kevin Volland ready to decide on Arsenal, Liverpool advances

Kevin Volland has been linked to Arsenal and Liverpool but is said to want to stay with Hoffenheim.

Arsenal and Liverpool are two clubs consistently linked with signing German under captain Kevin Volland.

The wide forward has been in outstanding form this season with unfancied Hoffenheim, scoring 10 goals and providing nine assists.

It means last season's relegation battle is no more, with the club comfortably in ninth in the Bundesliga.

The Mirror claimed in December that Volland is a 'top target' for Arsenal and Liverpool, and since then Borussia Dortmund have also been credited with interest in the 21-year-old.

It appears however they are all going to have to wait, with Volland indicating he is ready to snub advances to stay at Hoffenheim, along with coveted teammate Roberto Firmino who signed a new contract last month.

He is reported by Tuttomercato as saying: "Next season I will play certainly with Hoffenheim.

"In this club I feel good and I think the best where I can grow and mature to my best."

It certainly means Volland is unlikely to be bought on the cheap, should he go onto build on his potential.

With goals this season against Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen to his name, he is going about the right way in making a name for himself, and is already valued in the £15 million range.

We should expect to hear a lot more about Kevin Volland in future years to come, but perhaps not in the Premier League just yet.
