Thorgan Hazard is obviously hoping to be on his way to Brazil this summer.
This season has seen Chelsea youngster Thorgan Hazard, the brother of Eden, become the absolute star of the Belgian Jupiler League. The Belgian Talent of the Year and the Belgian Golden Shoe winner is currently on loan at Zulte-Waregem, whom he took to the brink of the Belgian title last season - and has continued his good form into the 2013-14 campaign.
It has been a difficult time for the player in 2014 however. A transfer saga involving Anderlecht wanting him for 18 months acted as a major distraction for the poor lad and his form has suffered as a consequence.
But he is still a top talent and is certainly on the radar of Belgium head coach Marc Wilmots.
So can he finish off his season in style - and get a place in the World Cup squad for the summer.
He posted this picture on his Instagram account yesterday that suggested he had faith in his ability to pull on that shirt again.
Hazard has just the one cap for the Red Devils - coming on as a second-half substitute against the USA in May of last year - but he has not featured since.
But the injury to Christian Benteke has certainly opened the door to other suitors.
The attacker is not an out and out striker like Benteke - but Belgium, for all their talent, are not blessed with an abundance of front-men.
Benteke and Romelu Lukaku aside the next best option is perhaps Jelle Vossen while unproven players such as Michy Batshuayi and David Pollet might have a case.
But don’t rule out the possibility of their being two Hazard’s on their way to Brazil this summer.
