Tim Sherwood has said he is still unclear over his future as speculation continues to surround his position as Tottenham Head Coach.

TalkSport reports that Sherwood has said no discussions have taken place over a potential return to his previous role of development coach.

Former Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has said that other clubs will want him if Sherwood doesn’t remain at White Hart Lane beyond the end of this season.

He said: “Of course other clubs will want him. Tim has done a good job at Tottenham but it seems he is not going to be there next year.”

One man who has been linked with Sherwood’s job is Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino but said he will be talking to his current club about a new contract at the end of the season.

Pochettino is quoted by several sources, saying: “Right now all possibilities are open. In football I am accustomed to living with these rumours, I have lived with them all my life.”

Sherwood has said he hopes to have Kyle Walker out on the training field as soon as possible as the right-back continues to recover from a pelvic injury.

The Spurs Head Coach was asked if Walker would miss the World Cup but he seems confident that he will be part of Roy Hodgson’s England squad that travels to Brazil this summer.

Sherwood said: “We’re concerned immediately because he’s not fit and it is very doubtful if he’ll be fit for next week as well but we’re hoping to see him out there on the training field as soon as possible.”

Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris seems keen to use the momentum from Monday’s 5-1 win over Sunderland to spur them on to a win over West Bromwich Albion this weekend.

He told the Tottenham website: “West Brom will be another tough game. It’s never easy when you’re playing away from home and they’ve had a couple of good results recently.

“We have to be aware and give everything to get three more points.”
