Here are the semi-finals of the Champions League with a shown down for Thibaut Courtois against Chelsea.
The ties for the semi-finals of the Champions League are as follows;
Real Madrid v Bayern Munich
Atletico Madrid v Chelsea
Chelsea reached this point of the competition following a dramatic late win against Paris Saint-Germain earlier this week, with Demba Ba’s late effort sending Jose Mourinho’s side through.
Real Madrid did enough in the first leg of their game against German side Borussia Dortmund to make it through. Los Blancos were outplayed in the second game between the sides but sneaked through.
Perhaps the result of the round fell in favour of Spanish giants Atletico Madrid who got through against the might of Barcelona, lengthening what has already been a great season for Diego Simeone’s men.
Manchester United were given brief hope of reaching this stage of the tournament following Patrice Evra’s early goal in Munich before three goals from the current champions put Bayern Munich through.
The first legs of the semi-finals will be played over April 22 and April 23 with the return legs on April 29 and April 30.
