All the latest news and gossip from the past 24 hours at The Emirates.

The Gunners take on Wigan Athletic tomorrow - and they go into the game with some positive injury news.

The club had announced that Alex Oxlade Chamberlain, Tomas Rosicky and Kieran Gibbs were all set to have medicals and were rated as 50-50 for the game.

But all three trained today and are looking set to be available for the bench at least tomorrow.

Arsenal have been given hope in their pursuit of QPR striker Loic Remy. The French international will be leaving QPR this summer according to Harry Redknapp - and The Gunners are set to join Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United in the chase for his permanent signature.

He reportedly wants to play Champions League football however - potentially ruling out both Spurs and The Toon.

Arsenal target Matthias Ginter is set to snub interest from the Premier League in order to stay in the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund.

The SC Freiburg defender has been linked with plenty of teams across Europe recently - including Manchester United, Tottenham and Inter Milan - but it seems Die Schwarzgelben have tied down a £6.6 million deal to sign the player according to several reports.

Some happy news from the club today now - and injured winger Theo Walcott is celebrating the birth of his first child - a son named Finley.

Theo and his wife Melanie Slade announced the news this morning via his Facebook page - stating:

“So over the moon to announce the birth of our baby boy Finley born this morning.... It's amazing to be mummy & daddy! Love him so much.”

Arsenal have given Julio Plegeuzuelo his first professional contract.

The left-back has been impressive this term ever since moving from the Barcelona academy in 2013 and he is now looking at a future in the first-team:

"Everyone at Arsenal would like to congratulate Julio on his first professional contract and we look forward to his continued progression with the club."
