€30m Arsenal and Everton target dispels transfer rumblings

Carlos Bacca has revealed that he has no intention of leaving Sevilla this summer, despite being linked with a move to the Premier League.

Sevilla have had a strong season this term despite offloading a number of key players in the summer transfer market.

One of the reasons behind the La Liga club’s success has been the goals of Carlos Bacca, who has made an instant impression since moving to the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

The Colombian forward has scored 14 La Liga goals in 25 starts this term, and is rumoured to be a target for both Arsenal and Everton.

Despite this, the South American hitman is not thinking about a summer move and has committed himself to Sevilla.

"Everyone dreams of going to great teams, but I'm already in one," Bacca told Radio Marca.

"I'm focused on doing my best to finish off what has been a great season.

"I hope to be among the 23-man (Colombia) squad for the World Cup and then return back to Sevilla. I have a five-year contract to honour and I've just got here."

Sevilla paid €7 million for Bacca in the summer and the forward is said to have a €30m release clause in his contract.

However, despite Sevilla having a recent track record of selling their best players, it looks like this star is staying put.
