Roberto Soldado has posted a pic of himself arriving for a bit of rehab at Hotspur Way.
I doubt many would disagree with me if I was to say that Roberto Soldado has not shone for Tottenham since his summer arrival from Valencia.
He cost the club £26 million in the summer and arrived with seriously deadly looking goalscoring pedigree - after banging in 30 goals in 46 games for Los Che the season before.
But he has struggled for Spurs. His 11 goals in 34 games looks average enough on paper - but five of those came from the penalty spot, adding extra weight to claims of him being a flop.
In 2014 he has scored just one goal in a win v Cardiff City - and he is currently out of action after coming out of action against Liverpool at the end of last month.
Suffering with an injury is bad enough - but then watching the man brought in to replace you playing a blinder cannot help matters.
Against Sunderland on Monday Tim Sherwood threw Harry Kane back in at the deep-end and the result was top class. Spurs won 5-1 - Kane scoring the second and starring throughout alongside Emmanuel Adebayor.
With that in mind Soldado knows he needs to get back into action as soon as possible.
And he has posted a message on Instagram this morning highlighting the fact he is doing just that.
'Good morning! After a great match of the team I keep working hard on my recovery'
The real question is - do Spurs fans even want him back?
Perhaps taking the rest of the season off could see him recharge his batteries and come back for a second tilt next campaign.
If Kane has not usurped him by then that is.
