David de Gea 6 - Made a couple of good saves on the night but could have arguably done better with the first two goals, though the precision of Arjen Robben's clincher left him stranded.
Phil Jones 7 - coped well with the threat of Franck Ribery down the Bayern left, and also tried to get forward to support Antonio Valencia in a solid display.
Chris Smalling 6 - a solid if unspectacular showing from Smalling, who played on through an injury tonight. Continues to show flashes of great player to make United fans believe that he's the future at Old Trafford.
Nemanja Vidic 6 - showed good awareness and commitment but was just too slow to react to Thomas Muller's goal to make it 2-1, which ultimately put Bayern in the driving seat.
Patrice Evra 7 - a fairly up and down night for Evra, who scored a stunning goal to put United in front but then lost his bearings for Mario Mandzukic's equaliser, and was also lucky to escape a red card for a last man challenge on Robben.
Darren Fletcher 6 - Worked hard in the middle but gave the ball away too frequently and just looked off the pace at times as Bayern once again dominated possession for the duration of the game.
Michael Carrick 6 - Nowhere near as influential in front of the back four as he usually is, Carrick couldn't really get on the ball and use his passing range to good effect.
Danny Welbeck 6 - Always offered a threat on the break with his pace and athleticism, but no shots on goal, Welbeck was rarely a true danger to Manuel Neuer's goal.
Antonio Valencia 7 - After a strong display in the first leg, Valencia impressed again with a tireless display down the United right, offering defensive protection to Phil Jones but also got forward well, including having a goal ruled out for offside.
Shinji Kagawa 6 - United rarely had the ball enough for Kagawa to be danger in the final third, but Kagawa supported Wayne Rooney well in the United attack.
Wayne Rooney 5 - Clearly not fit enough tonight. Rooney had an injection to get him through the game but he was clearly off the pace, wasting golden opportunities and failing to impact the game at all.
Adnan Januzaj - with just three touches, Januzaj was unable to make an impact.
Javier Hernandez - much like Januzaj, Hernandez touched the ball just seven times in a short spell on the pitch.
