It was a game for the new owner, Massimo Cellino, to watch and assess what needs to be done at Elland Road in order to turn Leeds United into promotion candidates.
Leeds supporters have recently been tasked to watch some pretty horrific performances, and the 1,700 that traveled to Vicarage Road saw one of their worst yet.
The game wasn't even 10-minutes old when Almen Abdi put the hosts ahead and on their way to a comfortable victory. For some Leeds United supporters, the game as good as over by that point and what followed was nothing short of a car crash.
Ikechi Anya put the Hornets 2-0 up before half-time, as Brian McDermott put Cameron Stewart on to add more impetus. However, halfway through the second-half, Troy Deeney put the game to bed netting his 21st of the season.
Following the full-time whistle and the start of the post-mortem, the fingers of blame were being pointing in many different directions.
Manager Brian McDermott was once again scrutinised by fans on the social media site, with many comparing the vast differences between his demeanour and Jose Mourinho's.
However, he wasn't the only one as the former Manchester United defender Scott Wootton also came under heavy criticism on the social media site, with many labelling the £1 million defender as 'useless'...
