Manchester United's squad paid a visit to the Munich Memorial Site ahead of their Champions League squabble with Bayern.
Manchester United's squad joined the club's fans at the Munich Memorial site earlier today, Tuesday, to pay their respects to those who lost their lives as a consequence of the air disaster that occured on February 6, 1958.
United take on Bayern Munich tomorrow evening, Wednesday, as they look to secure a passage into the final four of the Champions League. They drew 1-1 at Old Trafford last week and therefore must score at the Allianz Arena if they are to panic their hosts.
Both Rio Ferdinand and Michael Carrick posted messages via social media regarding their visit at the memorial site.
Ferdinand explained that he bumped into supporters, while Carrick said a group of fans were singing: "Man United will never die."
