Arsenal right-back Bacary Sagna has a warning for PSG ahead of their game with Chelsea this evening.
Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna has a warning for French side PSG ahead of their trip to West London to take on Chelsea in the Champions League.
Sagna has warned the side from his homeland that Chelsea’s supporters will get right behind the team as they look to eradicate a first leg deficit of two goals having lost the first game 3-1 in Paris.
“Stamford Bridge is intimidating. The pitch is small and the spectators are very close. There is a lot of intimidation and agitation. You really hear the chants and whistles. There are not many, but they noise is like they were twice as many,” he told Le Parisien.
Sagna was part of the Arsenal defence which got hammered 6-0 in the recent Premier League encounter between Chelsea and the Gunners so he’s well placed to comment on the intimidating Stamford Bridge crowd.
Jose Mourinho’s men will need every bit of support they can get this evening because despite the absence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, PSG will not be an easy side to get the better of.
