With two appearances in the Premier League in March, and two further appearances on the bench, it is fair to say Fulham winger Patrick Roberts is destined for big things.
Despite only turning 17 in February, Roberts has come from near obscurity to all of a sudden being on the radar of some of the world's top clubs.
Roberts' performances for both the club academy and the England Under-17s saw him given the chance in a Fulham side fighting for their lives at the foot of the Premier League.
Felix Magath recognised the youngster's enormous potential upon arriving at Craven Cottage, and included him in the first team almost immediately. The German would be loathe to see Roberts linked away already, and will hope that the fact first team football will be so much more achievable at Fulham than the sides reportedly chasing the young winger will hold some weight for the Cottagers.
"Pat is a very big talent and he will have a great career in front of him, so I think it is good for him to make the experience now in the Premier League, so he will get used to it," Magath said of his fledgling talent
Having signed his first professional deal in February, keeping Roberts at the club until 2016, it is likely he will continue to grow at Fulham for the foreseeable future, though that could all change if one of the game's giants declare a formal interest.
Roberts was on the bench this weekend as Fulham beat Aston Villa 2-1 to move up to 18th in the table.
