CONFIRMED: Chelsea & Stoke City line-ups - Salah starts!

Here is how Chelsea and Stoke City will line up for today’s match at Stamford Bridge:

Chelsea starting XI: Cech, Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta, Lamard, Matic, Schurrle, Willian, Salah, Torres

Subs: Schwarzer, Kalas, Cole, Luiz, Oscar, Hazard, Ba

Stoke City starting XI: Begovic, Cameron, Shawcross, Wilson, Pieters, Odemwingie, Whelan, Palacios, Nzonzi, Arnautovic, Crouch

Subs: Sorensen, Wilkinson, Muniesa, Adam, Guidetti, Walters, Etherington

With Liverpool not playing until tomorrow, Chelsea have the chance to climb above them in the Premier League table, but with Manchester City winning earlier today it really does seem a case of who will blink first?

Having lost to both Crystal Palace and Paris Saint-Germain away from home in the last week, the Blues will no doubt be happy to be back on home soil. But after the Potters took the three points in a 3-2 victory earlier this season, Jose Mourinho will be taking nothing for granted.

That said, Stoke have not won a league match at Stamford Bridge since 1974, and the Blues have won their last four home league matches scoring 14 without reply.

So, not an easy task for ex-Chelsea man Mark Hughes then, but not an impossible one either; unlike Chelsea’s title hopes, at least according to Mourinho when he spoke in the aftermath of last weekend’s defeat.

What do you think the result will be this evening?
