The latest version of transfer bin features the Mirror, a well respected national daily, which has run a story today which is radical, unbelievable, confusing and any other adjective you can think of to describe the horror that would be created for Chelsea fans if the report is true.
The Mirror claims that Jose Mourinho is considering selling one of the club’s best players, either Oscar or Eden Hazard, to fund a move for a top profile striker target this summer.
Chelsea’s need for a centre forward is quite clear. Mourinho has been critical of the current forward he has at his disposal and seems ready to go after a marquee signing this summer.
However, sacrificing one of the most important players at the club is highly unlikely and certainly counter productive.
Oscar and Hazard appear regularly when it comes to key attacking areas for the Blues so losing one of them could create a one step forwards and two steps back sort of situation.

Chelsea are on the back foot following their Champions League first leg defeat against PSG and they are staring at the possibility of missing out on the Premier League title.
If either Manchester City or Liverpool pips Mourinho’s men to the league crown it’s likely to force the Portuguese coach to tighten up ahead of next season, which means keeping his key players.
Chelsea have other areas where they can generate cash if they need to such as with Romelu Lukaku, with reports suggesting that the Belgian could bring in roughly £25 million to go into the pot.
Letting Lukaku leave won’t be a popular decision but given a choice over which players to sell between him, Hazard and Oscar, Mourinho would almost certainly pick the centre forward to move on.
Hazard has been linked with moves away for most of the season with PSG seemingly ready to pay a whopping fee for his services, but the form that has created that interest is the reason the Blues would be stupid to let him leave.
Rubbish Rating: Unless a side comes along with some world record offers, Hazard and Oscar will both still be Chelsea players at the start of next season.
