Jose Mourinho may have just given away his secret on how he hopes to attract players to Chelsea in the summer as he was seen flirting with Brazilian forward Lucas Moura during Chelsea's away defeat to Paris Saint-Germain yesterday.
According to reports in the Daily Mail, Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho was seen to be on the 'charm offensive' as his side took on Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League quarter-final.
The former Real Madrid manager has always been renowned as a great people person by his former players, which was at its most evident when experienced defender Marco Materazzi broke down in tears live on TV following Mourinho's departure from Inter Milan.
However, his antics in Paris seem to suggest he is willing to turn on the charm with opposition players too.
Prior to the match, he had already divulged his admiration for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a player who he had coached during his time at Inter. The link to Zlatan is one that has previously been done to the death, with both manager and player dismissing the possibility on more than one occasion.
However, in the warm-up prior to the game, the Portuguese manager seemed very 'pally' with Lucas Moura, a player who he has no past affiliation with, at least not in terms of being at the same club together.
The relationship may possibly stem from a previous link with the player during Mourinho's time at Real Madrid, which he was reported to have gone to see the player personally over a potential move. Therefore, it's not unreasonable to speculate Mourinho could be trying to 'stoke' the old flames in preparation of a summer bid for the Brazilian international.
