Mesut Ozil has spoken regarding his comeback from injury, stating he is doing everything he can to be back as soon as possible.
Arsene Wenger confirmed via Arsenal.com today that this was the case: "The FA Cup will be too soon for him, but he will hopefully be back soon after that."
The news gives Arsenal hope, as last week Arsene Wenger was unable to even offer an update regarding the German international.
There was further good news offered, with Wenger confirmed Aaron Ramsey and Nacho Monreal were back in training, along with Abou Diaby this week, for the first time in a year.
Wenger added that Laurent Koscielny was making good progress, and is possibly ahead of Ozil in terms of comeback date.
Record signing Ozil has been out since early March, when he sustained a hamstring injury away to Bayern Munich. The playmaker later said he suffered the injury as early as the second minute, but carried on playing until half-time.
