According to the Spanish website Elgoldigital, Manchester United are looking to take advantage of Real Betis’ dire situation and land flying winger Alvaro Vadillo.
The Spanish club are currently suffering a terrible time, both on and off the pitch. The Seville-based side are rock bottom of La Liga, and barring a miracle, they will be relegated to Spain’s Segunda Division.
Whilst bad news for the club and their fans, potential suitors may well profit from such an occasion as Real Betis still have the core of a very good squad which managed to finish seventh last season – just 10 points adrift of the final Champions League spot.
One player in particular which has undoubtedly attracted attention is outstanding talent Alvaro Vadillo.
The 19-year-old winger has been one of a few shining lights for the Verdiblancos, and his skill and quick feet has drawn comparisons with Barcelona winger Cristian Tello.
Whilst clearly not the final product, David Moyes is allegedly eager to bring the player to Manchester in order to boost his options on the flanks.
The Manchester United famed philosophy is all about getting the ball wide, and doing so quickly. Unfortunately for the Red Devils and David Moyes, players such as Nani, Valencia and Young have all too often this season failed to replicate previous top standards.
Some fresh blood is needed at Old Trafford this summer, and David Moyes has been tasked with building a team for the future.
Alvaro Vadillo is certainly an exciting prospect, and perhaps some solid surroundings such as Old Trafford will help him realise his massive potential.
Would Alvaro Vadillo be a good signing for Manchester United?
