Manchester United secured an impressive 1-1 draw with Bayern Munich, giving themselves a chance heading into the second leg next week.
Yet it could have been so much better, had Danny Welbeck capitalised on a glorious chance in the first half to fire the Red Devils into the lead.
One on one with German international goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, Welbeck elected to try to chip the ball over him rather than leather it past him.
Manager David Moyes and the United support could only watch on in frustration as Neuer swatted the ball away, to deny the home side a lead heading into the break.
David Moyes' reaction, pictured above, said after the game: "At this level you need to be clinical. When you get the chances, you have to take them."
There was no question as to who he was referring to. The miss capped a frustrating night for Welbeck, who had an early goal ruled out for a 'high boot' in the build up to it.
