England have progressed to the finals of the European under-17 championships, following a 2-1 win over Italy.
The Three Lions had won their two openers against the Czech Republic and Albania last week, yet this match with the Azzurri was their biggest test so far.
Adam Armstrong of Newcastle bagged the opener, before Valerio Trani brought Italy level. And then the Chelsea combination kicked in.
Izzy Brown, who as the FA website described, 'terrorised down the left-flank' all game, and was 'too hot for Italy to handle', fired in a cross - for in-form striker Dominic Solanke to net.
The pair are teammates for Chelsea's under-18 side which have reached the FA Youth Cup semi-finals, and combined in the first game against the Czech Republic, with Brown also providing a goal for Solanke.
He went from provider to goalscorer when he hit the winner over Albania, and finishes the qualifiers with two assists and one goal in three games, Solanke two goals in three matches.
Both are standout players for Chelsea and England, and have plenty more to offer this season alone.
If they continue to link up well, the pair could be celebrating winning the FA Youth Cup and UEFA under-17 Championships, and demonstrate why they should be considered for fast-tracking out on loan and accelerating their route to the Chelsea first team.
