Cardiff boss votes for his best wonder-goal from their game at West Brom.
Cardiff manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has had his say on the best goal from their 3-3 draw with West Brom on Saturday.
The game saw two brilliant goals from West Brom’s Morgan Amaliftano and Cardiff’s Jordon Mutch.
Amalfitano took on a half-volley about ten-yards in from the right touchline and lobbed Bluebirds keeper David Marshall, while Mutch looped a ball in from just under 30-yards that found the back of the net.
Solskjaer says he thought Amalfitano’s was the better goal, claiming Mutch’s was a cross.
"Amalfitano's was best because I think Jordan's was a cross,” he said in his post-match press conference.
"It was a fantastic goal, the first one. You need to give him a lot of praise for that. He's caught David unaware.
"But Jordan puts it in the right area, the keeper has to stay more or less on his line, so Jordan's was a good one as well."
Cardifff have now scored six goals in their last two games, but have only come away with a point from those matches, as they slowly begin to run out of time in the relegation race.
Is there any way back for Cardiff in the race to beat the drop?
