Real Madrid star Alvaro Morata has changed his look ahead of Madrid’s clash with Rayo Vallecano.

Spanish U21 striker Alvaro Morata is taking on a new look as he looks to seize upon Jese Rodriguez’s unfortunate injury lay-off and give Carlo Ancelotti a new striking option.

The 21-year-old has only started one La Liga game all season, and he has had to be content with a number of brief cameo appearances from the bench.

Forwards Garth Bale, Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo – dubbed the BBC by the Spanish press – are Ancelotti’s preferred frontline, and Morata’s position in the squad led to intense speculation regarding his future.

Premier League title challengers Arsenal have been linked with the striker on a number of occasions, and in early March, The Metro reported that Morata had agreed to Arsenal’s proposed £100,000-a-week five-year deal and that he would move to North London this summer.

This reported deal, however, never came official and as a result of Jese Rodriguez’s six-month ACL injury, it is expected that Morata will remain in Madrid beyond the summer.

To get noticed by his boss, Alvaro Morata’s methods have gone beyond banging goals in for fun on the training ground.

He walked into the Santiago Bernabeu stadium ahead of Real Madrid’s clash with Rayo Vallecano adopting a new mean look – looking sharp with his orange Real Madrid tracksuit and shaved head.
