Arsenal have finally put up a good fight against one of their title rivals after they drew 1-1 against Manchester City at The Emirates Stadium in what was a hotly contested affair.
David Silva opened the scoring for City but a second half strike from the unlikely source if Mathieu Flamini saw the game finish all square.
Silva shone once again in the no.10 role for City - but Arsenal also had a pretty impressive performance from a Spanish playmaker to enjoy.
Santi Cazorla was one of the star players for Arsenal in the game - and in fact the former Malaga man actually had more touches than any other Premier League player yesterday.

Along with Mathieu Flamini, Cazorla was perhaps the best player on the pitch for Arsenal - and in a season where much was expected of his more illustrious team-mate Mesut Ozil, the little Spaniard has certainly come out on top.
His passing was good, not excellent at a success rate of only 79%, but that highlights the fact Cazorla was tasked with trying to push this game forward - toward getting at City while others around him such as Flamini and Mikel Arteta worked a containment job.
But his ball control and dribbling was superb as ever - weaving his way around City at times especially in an impressive second half.
But for many an Arsenal fan just his fight was enough to win them over.
In recent games against the top teams Arsenal’s players have capitulated - letting their opponents run all over them in 6-3, 5-1 and 6-0 losses to City, Liverpool and Chelsea respectively.
Yesterday there was no feel that this was ever going to be the case. Cazorla put a shift in - and was joined in that process by Tomas Rosicky, Lukas Podolski and in particular Mathieu Flamini, putting his best performance since the turn of the year in at The Emirates yesterday evening.
But it was certainly Cazorla who stood out above the rest - so what did the Arsenal fans think on Twitter…?

Santi cazorla bossed it today especially the 2nd half. Needs to play through the middle more often. Such quick feet it's unreal— henkpoesiat (@poesiathenk) March 29, 2014
