Former Bayern star claims Manchester United have two top stars of the very top quality.
Manchester United face arguably the best team in Europe right now when they tackle Bayern Munich, and Oliver Kahn has spelt out reasons to be fearful.
The former goalkeeper has claimed the German champions have two stars playing on a similar level to Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, which give Pep Guardiola's side an edge against any team.
In his column for Bild, he singled out Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben as the two capable of leading Bayern to further success.
"In the game every really big team is always dominated by one or two very exceptional players, think of Messi or Ronaldo in Barcelona in Madrid. The Bavarians have currently with Robben and Ribery the same two players who can make a small but important difference at the highest level."
It won't be lost on United that the two stars he singles out are wide players, while at United their wingers have struggled for consistency all season.
Antonio Valencia did star against Olympiakos, but has just four goals and three assists to his name this season. Ashley Young has just two goals and one assist, and neither are assured of their place in the team.
The level in difference is illustrated by Franck Ribery's figures of 12 goals and 11 assists, while Arjen Robben has 13 goals and eight assists.
If David Moyes' side are to have any chance of keeping Bayern out at Old Trafford, finding a way to limit the impact of the dynamic wingers is going to be essential, if wholly difficult.
As for Kahn, after the way United left him heartbroken in 1999, there is no secret who he is going to be cheering on.
