Crystal Palace beat Chelsea 1-0 at Selhurst Park earlier today.

The title race took a huge twist on Saturday afternoon as a John Terry own-goal gave Crystal Palace a 1-0 victory over Chelsea at Selhurst Park.

The victory was much needed for the Eagles, who had slipped perilously close to the relegation zone despite the wonders Tony Pulis worked in the early months of his tenure.  But while the three points were a welcome boost for the home side, the visitors saw their title hopes take a huge dent.

Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City will all now be eyeing top-spot and Jose Mourinho may ultimately be proved right that this Chelsea side are not yet ready to be crowned champions.

But there is still plenty of football to be played, and there will be a few more twists and turns yet, you can be sure of that.
