Wembley England

Are these the new kits which the likes of Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard will adorn this summer?

Famed kit website Todosobrecamisetas have published the alleged England kits for this summer’s World Cup in Brazil.

Typically, there are no surprises in the colours as the home shirt is England’s traditional white shirt with the blue badge and brand, whilst the away shirt is a striking red colour with faint vertical lines.

The biggest difference to these World Cup strips in comparison to the kits used in the South African World Cup in 2010 is the kit manufacturer. After many years, England have changed from Umbro to the leading US brand Nike.

England head into the tournament this summer off the back of a couple of disappointing performances, and Roy Hodgson will looking for major improvements.

The Three Lions were drawn into a tough looking group D alongside Costa Rica, Uruguay and Euro 2012 nemesis Italy.

With the form of Luis Suarez and Edison Cavani ahead of this summer’s grand occasion, England know that they face a huge battle in getting beyond the group stages.

The usual suspects such as Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney and Liverpool duo Steven Gerrard and Daniel Sturridge will be looked upon as Hodgson's leading players, and possibly adorning these beautiful new kits, we will all be hoping that they can make the nation proud.
