Arsenal are in the hunt for a new striker this summer. The club have looked woefully short of options at times this season - and Olivier Giroud has born a mass of criticism as he often toils away as the only striker in a squad ravaged by injuries.
But in that respect the striker position is one area in which Arsene Wenger has seemingly refused to improve.
This summer however that is expected to change - and many a name is already being thrown into the rumour mill as a potential option.
One such name is that of Josip Drmic.
The Swiss international has bagged 15 goals in 26 appearances this campaign since joining FC Nurnberg from FC Zurich in the summer.
Strong, quick and ruthless he is set to make a move away from the Bundesliga relegation battlers in the summer.
"I'm not going to stand there and say, Josip is not for sale."
And now a source who has had hits and misses regarding Arsenal transfer stories has reported it will happen.
Jan Age Fjortoft famously announced the Mesut Ozil to Arsenal deal before anyone else - pushing his opinion to the top of many a fans head when considering German transfer rumours.
He has also been wrong about Julian Draxler on more than one occasion.
But nonetheless the former Barnsley player is a man in the know.
And according to him Drmic is on his way to Arsenal.
He promised to keep us updated on any Drmic related news throughout the day and he says a German legend, Lothar Matthaus, had informed him that Drmic’s wife has been looking for apartments in London recently - suggesting Drmic is on his way to the Premier League.
Just arrived in Freiburg. They're playing Nûrnberg.Nürnberg-striker Drmich been linked to Arsenal here. 15 of their goals. Will find out more— Jan Aage Fjortoft (@JanAageFjortoft) March 29, 2014
My #sky colleague Lothar Matthäus just said on Sky: -Drmic's wife has been looking for an appartment in London. Drmic will be Arsenal-player— Jan Aage Fjortoft (@JanAageFjortoft) March 29, 2014
Josip Drmic is the Swiss-striker at Nurnberg. 15 goals so far. 47% of all Nürnberg goals. Matthäus: - Will be Arsenal-player— Jan Aage Fjortoft (@JanAageFjortoft) March 29, 2014
Fjortoft is a source who is somewhat hit or miss so take the information with excitement but with a pinch of trepidation.
But any reason to get excited is surely worth it - and he certainly got the Ozil deal spot on.
