Torres' message: keep strong warrior !! My best wishes Victor
Chelsea duo Samuel Eto'o and Fernando Torres have shown their class by taking time out to wish injured Victor Valdes well in his recovery from injury.
The Barcelona stalwart suffered a cruciate knee ligament injury against Celta Vigo on Wednesday night, which rules him out for the end of the season and the World Cup.
His future is uncertain with his contract up at the end of the season, with rumours he had given an agreement to AS Monaco, although it's unclear whether that commitment was verbal or in the form of a signed deal.
Both Torres and Eto'o know Valdes well. Torres has not only scored past him for Chelsea in their Champions League winning run in 2012, but he is a Spanish international teammate of Valdes', with the pair sharing many mutual acquaintances.
Eto'o knows him perhaps even better, having played alongside Valdes for Barcelona, sharing trophy wins including the 2009 Champions League.
While their messages may not amount to a great deal, it's a nice touch from each player, sharing the thoughts of the entire football world in wishing the goalkeeper a speedy recovery.
