Manchester United fans finally seem to be losing their faith in David Moyes following abject performances against their two biggest rivals. The banner is expected to be flown over Old Trafford just before tomorrow's game with Aston Villa which kicks off at 12:45.
A small group of fans have chipped in to raise £840 to make their feelings clear to the club. Surely this will not help David Moyes though? He already understands the amount of pressure he is under.
Many had realised that the job Moyes had on his hands was a lot harder than first thought. This season has shown that the club certainly needs a lot of investment and Sir Alex Ferguson left Moyes a squad devoid of quality. However results have started to become embarrassing for the team and for many the games against Liverpool and Manchester City were the final straw.
It was one thing losing them both 3-0, but The Red Devils didn't even come close to producing a display to be proud of. Moyes does seem to be out of ideas and his constant tinkering with the team is starting to annoy fans.
Take this fan for example who was interviewed straight after the defeat to Manchester City on Tuesday.
Perhaps Moyes' biggest test to date will come on Tuesday as United will face the current Champions League holders, Bayern Munich. The Germans have already wrapped up the Bundesliga title and will be expected to triumph over Manchester United over two legs. Given how easily they lost to Liverpool and Manchester City though, the tie could be all but over after the first leg at Old Trafford.
If more embarrassment is brought to the club on April Fools' Day then the United board could be forced to act quick to prevent further backlash from the fans.
