Arsenal outcast reveals he is likely to leave England this summer - 'I'll try something new'

Nicklas Bendtner has revealed he is likely to move abroad this summer when exiting Arsenal.

Arsenal star Nicklas Bendtner has had a rough time of it as late - oh wait, no he hasn’t!

Often criticised in the English press for his performances on the pitch and even more so what he gets up to off of it he recently got himself in a fine mess after visiting Denmark, without the permission of the club, and reportedly getting drunk and doing unreportable things to a taxi in Copenhagen city centre.

It is the latest in a long line of controversies surrounding the star following on from walking out of a nightclub with his pants down, exposing his Paddy Power boxer shorts to the world and of course his drink driving ban in Denmark for driving down the wrong side of the road whilst inebriated.

But last night he at least showed he had a sense of humour.

He was reportedly in top form whilst appearing as a guest on Danish show Natholdet.

He even arrived in a taxi - a skit which involved the host of the show Anders Breinholt and got a laugh from those who can understand Danish.

But his appearance was not all about taking the mick out of his recent misdemeanours - he also spoke about football.

Arsene Wenger recently made it quite clear that Bendtner was on his way this summer. His contract expires in the summer and despite some flashes of his talent the club are ready to cut their losses on the cult hero/villain.

And last night he spoke of a potential exit - and unfortunately for us English football fans he appears to have his eyes on the continent.

Bendtner told Breinholt:

“I think I'll try something new. Of course one should never say never, but I'll try something new, yes. It is we (Arsenal and Bendtner) mutually agree. I think I'd like to try a different country, but I have not quite decided exactly what it will be yet. I still got a few months to run to make a decision.”

But to prove the funnies weren’t over just yet he went on to cite Barcelona as a dream destination - again.

Oh, he wasn’t joking.

We just hope he had permission from Wenger on this occasion.
