Mourinho would consider 'crazy' £300 million bid for Chelsea duo

In today's press conference Jose Mourinho, the Chelsea boss said they would have to consider bids for Oscar and Eden Hazard...if it was over £300 million.

Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain meet next week in the first-leg of their Champions League Quarter-Final. Although the pre-match build up has yet to get into full swing, it has all been very amicable so far, but today, Jose Mourinho, had a little dig at the Parisian’s interest in both Oscar and Eden Hazard.

As reported in the English press this morning, PSG are interested in making a move for Brazilian Oscar this summer, but how much truth there is in the story is sceptical. PSG winger, Lucas Moura, was recently quoted saying how good a player Oscar is, and that he would be very happy if he joined him in Ligue 1. Then, of course, there are stories linking the Chelsea playmaker with a move to France.

Today at Mourinho’s press conference, the Portuguese manager laughed off PSG’s interest, saying Chelsea would have to think about an offer, but only if the French club made an offer of around £300 million.

The Chelsea boss commented: "No. It's not irritating. No problem. If there is Financial Fair Play, they don't have money to buy them.

"If there is no Financial Fair Play and they threw something crazy, £300million for both, I think Chelsea has to think about it."

Lucas Moura’s comments come after Yohan Cabaye was full of praise for Oscar’s teammate, Eden Hazard. The Belgian winger was a target for PSG before making the move to London, and the stories linking him with a move to Paris are never far away, but Hazard has commented time and time again that he is happy with life in the English capital. Under Mourinho he has the chance to become one of the best players in the world.

From Mourinho’s comments and the prices being quoted for both players, it looks like the French club will have to concentrate their focus elsewhere this summer.

The first-leg of the Quarter-Final takes place at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday night, the return leg at Stamford Bridge takes place just six days later on the April the 8th.
