Bayer Leverkusen, Real Sociedad, Paris Saint-Germain, Southampton and Rubin Kazan stars all feature.
There isn’t a lot wrong with the current squad but Arsene Wenger definitely needs to inject some new signings into the side to give different areas a facelift ahead of next season.
The boss is now under the transfer magnifying glass after he failed to guide his side to a win against Swansea following the big defeat at Chelsea last weekend.
We’ve taken a look at some of the latest players to have been linked with moves to Arsenal.
Lars Bender (Bayer Leverkusen)
The £19 million rated German international is a player that Arsenal have been linked with before and someone who could provide something a bit different in the Arsenal midfield. He’s one of the best holding players in the world and perfectly suited to pull the strings for the club in the middle.
Antoine Griezmann (Real Sociedad)
There were rumours earlier this week that the French winger had agreed to move to Paris Saint-Germain verbally, something he has since denied. Arsenal failed with a bid for him last winter and although his transfer value has reportedly doubled to £25 million, Arsene Wenger has admitted the club’s long term interest in him.
Jeremy Menez (Paris Saint-Germain)
Menez is a forward who has been strongly linked with Liverpool in the past but the Gunners are rumoured to be interested. Suggestions Menez could leave Menez in the summer have emerged after he said he feels misunderstood by current PSG boss Laurent Blanc.
“Ancelotti was closer to his players - you felt important with him. Laurent Blanc has a different way of managing. I am a little misunderstood at PSG,” he told Gazzetta.
Calum Chambers (Southampton)
One of the latest youth talents to come out of the famous Southampton academy. Chambers is reportedly seen as the long term replacement for Bacary Sagna, who could be leaving the club for free in the summer to go and play for Manchester City over the final part of his career.
Yann M’Vila (Rubin Kazan)
M’Vila has reportedly been told that he is free to leave Russian football this summer, apparently interested in a move to England. There are thought to be several Premier League sides interested in him, Arsenal one of them, as he recovers from an injury in his homeland of France.
