Arsenal crock Wilshere at Drake gig - but has he learned nothing?

Jack Wilshere, Benik Afobe and Dan Crowley were at the O2 Arena in London to see Drake yesterday.

Arsenal have fallen away in the title fight once again as a crushing 6-0 defeat against Chelsea and 2-2 draw v Swansea City all but ended any hope they had of claiming a shock Premier League win.

But Arsenal’s recent failures have to be out into context - they have had a miserable time with injuries.

Kieran Gibbs, Yaya Sanogo, Nacho Monreal, Kim Kallstrom, Aaron Ramsey, Mesut Ozil and now Laurent Koscielny have all spent time on the side-lines recently - and of course Jack Wilshere has also been out of action.

The England international busted his navicular bone whilst on duty with England and is out until the end of April.

Recently he has had his protective boot removed and some are suggesting he could return in mid-April - allaying fears he could miss the World Cup.

But during his time off he appears to have had it pretty good.

He went off to Dubai to get away from the media scrutiny of yet another foot injury and last night he went off to see Drake at London’s O2 Arena.

The Canadian rap star, who was instrumental in the signing of Jermain Defoe for Toronto FC, is currently on the UK leg of his tour - and Wilshere went along with a few others, including fellow Gunners Benik Afobe and Daniel Crowley.

Nothing wrong with that - and it at least shows he is up and about and seemingly getting over the mental side of his injury problem already.

Progress cannot be slow - but you think he would be a little bit more careful about the picture.

It looks like the boy has a pint in his hand, not sure if that is a great way to recover to full fitness.

It could just be an iced tea - but after the cigarette debacle you’d have thought he’d have thought about that. Not that he shouldn't be allowed a pint while he is out of action.

Just, maybe not let the picture get out to social media...

Arsenal fans will hope to see him back in action ASAP regardless.
