Manchester United have once again suffered an undignified result against one of their main rivals - in fact, this is their noisy neighbours who did the damage.
Manchester City ran out 3-0 winners at Old Trafford thanks to two goals from Edin Dzeko and a late punisher from Yaya Toure.
It was, at times, a far better performance from David Moyes' side - but in the end City were clinical and ruthless in their attacking verve.
For United there is currently no doubt that City are no longer noisy neighbours - they are now squatters demonstrating their rights in what is usually their property.
One of the star players this evening was Samir Nasri.
The Frenchman was in top form, as he has been in general in recent weeks, with his delightful one touch passing and size-belying strength evident throughout the 90 minutes.
While not many will ever admit being fond of the guy as a person, he is certainly a superb player.
