Chelsea morning news: Blues set to battle for La Liga forward - NOT Costa

A round up of news stories this morning about Chelsea.

Chelsea face a battle from Manchester City to land Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema in the summer.

The Frenchman has been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu for most of the season.

However, reports suggest Carlo Ancelotti is keen to tie the player down on a new long term contract with Los Blancos.

PSG midfielder Yohan Cabaye says he wants Eden Hazard at the French club.

PSG have been strongly linked with a big money move for the Chelsea star and the former Newcastle man has encouraged the player to join him in the French capital.

“Hazard is a player that I would like to PSG. He would do so well in Paris and in the championship,” he told PMU.

Eden Hazard has revealed that Samuel Eto’o has told him he can become one of the best players in the world.

The Belgian has been in exceptional form for the Blues this season, receiving tremendous support from the Cameroonian forward.

“Eto’o tells me every day that I can be one of world’s best players. Before every game he tells me I have to make the difference,” he’s quoted by the Express.
